Through the Kitchen proposes a new type of restaurant space, shifting the perspective from the customer to the staff. It challenges the balance between transparency and privacy. The partition-to-shelving system allows staff to make specific choices according to their needs while giving customers insight into aspects of their routines. The design emphasises what is left visible, whether the choreography of silhouettes or the precise execution of hands at work.
